Oxygen is the dominant oxidizing agent for petrochemical manufacturing. Where combustion processes need to be enhanced, on-site oxygen generators can be installed as a safe and cost effective alternative to liquid supply.
Nitrogen is the natural choice of gas to displace oxygen, retard oxidation or to break the burning triangle and prevent explosions. Nitrogen is used to blanket storage vessels in refineries, pipeline purging, drying and leak checks, inerting tank farm storage tanks and other vessels.
